How to access Raw Logs from cPanel?
| cPanel comes with a selection of log and analytic programs such as AWStats and Webalyzer, but what if you want to take a look at the logs for yourself.
First you will need to enable raw loggging. Because raw logs can take up a lot of disk space, accounts are not configured to automatically store this data
- Log into your cPanel account, and click RAW Access Logs - Tick the box next to "Archive Logs in your home directory at the end of each stats run". - If you opt to store to keep raw logs on your account, it recommend that you also opt to remove each previous months logs.
If you do not choose this option, you will need to remove excess log files manually yourself so as not to exceed diskspace limitations.
After log archiving has been enabled for at least a day, you will have access to each previous day's raw logs through the cPanel interface. Simply click on a domain to download its logs in gzip format.
