Transferring your .UK Domain Name

Before proceeding with the Transfer of your .UK Domain Name, you are advised to first check if your Domain Name can be Transferred.

The process of Transferring a .UK Domain Name from another Registrar is slightly different compared to the process for Domain Names under other extensions. In case of a .UK Domain Name, the inbound Transfer needs to be initiated at the Current Registrar's end.

Once you have determined whether your .UK Domain Name can be Transferred, you need to follow the process mentioned below:

1. Initiate the Transfer at the Current Registrar with whom you are managing your .UK Domain Name. For detailed instruction on a regisrar by registrar basis or to have XDnet manage the transfer for you contact support
   
   You need to provide a Tag in order to initiate the Transfer. Please contact XDnet Support to obtain the tag. Support@xdnet.co.uk
   
2. Once the domain has been transferred to our tag you will receive an email to the registrants email with a security code.
3. Open a support ticket with XDnet with details of the domain you are transferring to XDnet and the security code and we will immediatly complete the transfer within 24 hours.
