Does XDnet allow adult content?
| Q: Does XDnet allow adult content? A: Short answer: Not on shared hosting. Long answer: XDnet does not hold a particular view either way about the moral argument for and against "Adult" websites and content. XDnet however has very strong terms on shared hosting, against "bad" content like Spyware, spam and otherwise unethical content. ALL content on shared accounts must adhere strictly to the laws of England and Wales. Because adult websites can be associated with unattractive activities and shared users share the same IP it can mean one website can blacklist the server IP which will there-fore affect every other user on that server. This is unfair to other clients and will not be tolerated. Resellers are responsible for ALL accounts they host and administrate, and if content which breaks XDnet terms may be fined and have their account (and ALL sub accounts) suspended until all content has been removed. Exceptions: You may host any content, within the legal boundaries of either the laws of England and Wales (if it’s one of XDnet's dedicated UK servers) or the laws of the United States (if it’s one of XDnet’s dedicated US servers), on any dedicated server package. Note: If required XDnet can arrange for servers in other countries on request and content and activities will be under the legal requirments of the host country. |
