Shoutcast skipping usually happens when the source server doesn't have enough resources for the encoder to keep up with the music/output.

You can easily fix this by simply shutting down any unneeded programs that are running or to upgrade the amount of RAM & CPU power of the computer.

alternatively skipping might be caused by a conflicting WinAmp plugin and it is advised to disable all plugins except the DSP plugin.
