Force account backup in cPanel

This little snippet can prove very useful in the server administrators toolbox.

It is often a very good idea to keep your cPanel accounts backed up off-site (FTP Backup space is of course available from XDnet, contact sales for details).

However sometimes it may get interrupted or something doesn't quite work and the process needs to be restarted manually.

Open your preferred SSH command shell program and type the following:

CODE:
$  rm -rf /home/cpbackuptmp

The above removes the backup temp files (which will stop it running the backup script again until it is next scheduled) and now you can run the backup script.

CODE:
$  /scripts/cpbackup

The handy little snippets can come in handy, so be sure to take note!
