What is Web Space?

Web space is simply the same hard drive memory on your PC, and it’s used to store your web site and other files.

Smaller web sites don't need a large amount of web space – 250MB (Basic package) is plenty for a site with 30 or 40 pages and a reasonable amount of images, audio and even small clips of video.

For much larger business websites XDnet advises using the Business package which includes 2.5GB of webspace and 10GB of transfer (bandwidth) which is plenty for large websites with hundreds or even thousands of webpages, and many visitors. The business package also includes "unlimited" number of MySQL databases, E-mail accounts, forwarders and domains.
