Q: Can I modify PHP.ini?

A: XDnet has decided not to allow access yo php.ini on shared accounts for the overall security of our servers. However, users which are encountering specific issues with settings in PHP.ini or indeed with any configuration of our server, please remember Just Ask! XDnet is happy to review requests and may decide to enable/disable the specific configuration.

Also if you require more control over their account your account a VPS (Virtual Private Server), Semi-dedicated (slice) server or fully dedicated, which all include full root access could be the ideal choice for you as all allow complete control over the server enviorment.
