How to set up a Catch-all email
What is "catch-all" email?A "catch-all" email address is a email address which receives any mail that is sent to an invalid email address for your domain, so if someone emails joblogs@yourdomain.com (assuming you do not have a email account or forwarder set up for joblogs) this will be sent to your default email. How to set up a catch-all email:After logging into your cPanel account navigate to the "default address" icon under the mail section.
Here you can select the domain to set up your catch-all email for, and the email address invalid emails are sent to.
By default your domain will be set up to "Discard with error to sender (at SMTP time)" you need to select "Forward to email address" instead, and enter an email account you would like emails to be sent.
Once you have changed this and entered a valid email, click "Change" and all email sent to an invalid address will now be forwarded to this address! Done! |
